How To Flash Samsung Mobile
Step 1: Preparations
Download Odin Flash Tool: First, download the latest version of Odin Flash Tool on your computer from the official Odin website.
Then download the firmware for your mobile: Go to the official Samsung website or other trusted sites and download your mobile firmware.
Select the firmware version according to your device model and region. Install Samsung USB Drivers: Install Samsung USB drivers on your computer to connect your device to the computer.
Backup your data: Before flashing the device it is essential to backup your important files, contacts, and media to avoid data loss.
Step 2: Enter Download Mode
Turn off your Samsung device. To enter download mode, press Volume Down, Power, and Home buttons together until your device enters download mode.
You will see a warning message on the screen. Press the Volume Up button to continue and the Volume Up button to enter download mode.
Step 3: Connect your device to the computer
Run the Odin Flash Tool on your computer. Connect your Samsung mobile device to the computer using a USB cable. Odin will diagnose your device, and you will see “Added!” in the Odin tool.
Step 4: Load the firmware files
Samsung’s latest models have four firmware files, for example, 1, “AP” 2, “BL” 3, “CP” 4, and “CSC.”
Click the “AP” button in the Odin flash tool and select your “AP” .tar or .md5 file.
Now click the “BL” button in the odin flash tool and select your “BL” file.
Now click the “CP” button in the odin flash tool and select your “CP” file.
Now click the “CSC” button in the odin flash tool and select your “CSC” file.
Step 5: Start the flashing process
Make sure the firmware files are loaded correctly. Click the “Start” button in Odin to start the flash process. This process may take some time, so do not turn off your device or disconnect the computer.
Check the “pass” message in the Odin tool during the flash process.
Step 6: Complete the flash process
Once the flash process is complete, a “Pass” message will appear in Odin. Now you can turn on your device and unplug the USB cable.
The new firmware has been installed on your device.
Step 7: Restore the data
Activate the device and restore the data you back up before flashing your mobile.
